Why do you sell two types of cables?
When we designed and developed the Dewire Relay we set out on a mission to reduce cable clutter to a maximum. Instead of opting for a proprietary cable that hooks into your power supply and another cable to run to your motherboard, we rather to run a single motherboard cable instead.
This is fine for most use-cases, but motherboard fan headers have their limitations. For example, running many and/or powerful fans might exceed the common 1 ampere or even the 2 ampere limit. In order to support these more exotic use-cases we also sell a cable that hooks into your spare power supply SATA connector for power. How many fans can I safely connect?
All computer fans should have a current rating listed on their specifications sheet. In almost all cases this is listed on the sticker, found on the back of the fan. For example, the popular Noctua NF-A12x25 has a 0.14A current rating. Our Relay series all have a 4A board rating. In theory this means you can safely connect 28 Noctua NF-A12x25 (4A / 0.14A = 28.5) to a daisy chain.
However, there are other limitations at play. Our regular cables connect directly to one of your motherboard fan headers, and are rated 2.5A. Most motherboards have a 1A limit per fan header, some more exotic motherboards have a higher 2A limit. Please consult your motherboard manual to find these specifications. If your manufacturer does not list this specification in detail, it is safe to assume your motherboard only supports 1A per fan header. This 1A limit would reduce the amount of fans to 7 Noctua NF-A12x25 (1A / 0.14A = 7.1), in our example.

To which countries does Dewire ship?
We ship worldwide, all shipments originate from our warehouse in The Netherlands. Because of our low volume of shipments we are not (yet) able to find warehousing partners in other continents. Therefore our shipment costs can be higher than expected outside of Europe. We appreciate your understanding in the matter.
What are the shipping rates per country?
We constantly try to give you the best shipping worldwide, for the best price available. If you order products for €60 and up, we are able to reduce shipping costs and in some cases provide free shipping. From €120 and up shipping is free in all countries.

In the Netherlands we also provide reduced shipping costs through Letterbox Parcel shipping. This service is available on some products that physically fit inside a mailbox. You will be provided with this option during checkout, if all the products in your basket fit this requirement.
The product I received is defective, what do I do?
We're sorry to hear that your product did not arrive in perfect condition. We take great care in packing our products. However accidents can happen, we have no influence on how local shipments providers treat the packages.
